About us.
Hello, I’m Jo and I run Wagdale Hall. I am well aware of how a holiday or weekend away can be tainted by the thought of an unhappy dog left behind in kennels.
I am a retired primary school teacher and a life-long a dog owner. Having lost my springer collie of 14 years, Moss, I have decided to combine my love of walking, being at home, and DOGS, by setting our home up for looking after canine visitors.
I offer a boarding service ranging from occasional overnight care through to the annual fortnight away. You will have peace of mind knowing your pet is still happy in a home environment with lots of fuss and company while you enjoy your own holiday. I live in a detached house with a secure garden. We are in the Leicestershire countryside, only steps away from numerous country walks. Your dog
can be off the lead in moments, if you choose it to be.
I am fully insured and licensed by Harborough District Council.
The first step is a ‘meet and greet’, with a visit here if you are thinking about boarding. Ideally your dog will then spend an hour or two with me before coming for an overnight stay. I offer this free of charge because it is important that we are all happy that the arrangement is suitable.
So, do get in touch if you think I can help!
