Who are we?
Wagdale Hall is a canine retreat, run by life-long dog people. We offer home from home boarding and occasional ‘drop in’ day care.
Guests will enjoy:

We are currently unable to take on new boarders during peak times, that being June to October, and school holidays. Unless you have booked in at Wagdale before, we are unable to accommodate your dog during those times for now. If you are new to Wagdale and are looking to book an off-peak stay, please do get in touch.
What we offer
Boarding
Leave your dog in the comfort of a home environment when you go away for a week, or just a few days. Walkies at least once daily, with constant access to the garden. We ask you to provide your dog’s usual feed please.
£30 per day or
£45 per day for two dogs from the same owner
Drop In (Occasional) Day Care
Drop your dog off to be looked after in my home, with walks and company all day. They will be free to run around a
secure garden and walked in a group at least once a day. We ask you to provide your dog’s usual feed please.
£20 for up to 8 hours (additional hours negotiable)
£35 for two dogs from the same owner
What we need from our visitors
- Male dogs must be neutered, please. This isn’t just because of their own behaviours; other neutered male dogs can react unfavourably to ‘entire’ dogs. We may not be able to accommodate bitches when in heat.
- Visitors must enjoy the company of other dogs, without aggressive behaviours, for the happiness of all.
- Our guests may need to be left at home for short periods of time, most often when other dogs are being walked.

I love Jo looking after Flossie. I know she’ll get all the love, care and attention she needs, but will never get into bad habits as Jo sticks to the rules and boundaries that I ask for.
I know Flossie is content because she trots in, and is happy to stay when I leave. She always greets Jo with excitement. It’s a home from home for Flossie.

“We Could Enjoy Our Weekend Away Without Worrying”
Jo at Wagdale Hall is AMAZING! We had never left our two dogs in a home boarding setting, until we recently used Wagdale Hall. We felt completely at ease leaving our boys in their care, which meant we could enjoy our weekend away without worrying.
